RegardingWork for Mac

1. Open Applications folder in Finder
2. Right-click on RegardingWork Desktop
3. Select "Open" from the context menu
4. Click "Open" when macOS shows the security dialog

This security step is only needed the first time. Future launches work normally.

For Existing Users

1. Enter your username and password from game.regardingwork.com
2. Check "Remember me" to stay logged in
3. Click Login

For New Users

1. Click "Register" to create an account
2. Complete registration in the web browser
3. Return to app and login with new credentials

"App Can't Be Opened" Error

1. Right-click the app and select "Open"
2. Click "Open" in the security dialog
3. If still blocked: System Preferences → Security & Privacy → "Open Anyway"

Login Issues

• Check internet connection - Required for initial login
• Verify credentials - Test at game.regardingwork.com first
• Restart app - Quit with Cmd+Q and relaunch

Sessions Not Syncing

• Check internet connection - Required for sync
• Verify login status - Check top-right corner
• Complete sessions sync automatically when online

Menu Bar Integration

The app adds a discrete timer showing current countdown, break time, and quick access to pause/resume.

Keyboard Shortcuts

• Cmd+Q - Quit app completely
• Cmd+M - Minimize to background
• Space - Pause/resume timer (when app is active)

Team Projects

Select team projects from dropdown before starting sessions. Team notifications automatically sent to Slack channels.

Data Privacy

App data stored in ~/.regardingwork-desktop/ and survives updates automatically. Only encrypted login tokens and your uploaded music files are stored locally.
