The Origin Story

Founded by Michael Michelini (read his insights at mikesblog.com), RegardingWork was born from a personal transformation. In 2012-2013, Mike was inspired by productivity blog posts that completely changed how he approached work.

Over the years, Mike has written extensively about productivity, including a free book available at regardingwork.com/book, and developed various software tools to enhance team efficiency.

Why We Built This Game

In August 2025, while working with his team at Shadstone Limited, Mike realized the existing timer apps weren't meeting their needs. The team needed something better - a solution that combined productivity tracking with team collaboration and, most importantly, fun.
